Waniya Khan is a sophomore at the University of Houston, double majoring in biology and public health on the pre-med track. Her interest lie in understanding how psychological aspects influence a person's health and behavior. She aims to provide better care to children and adults of all ages with the help of understanding how neurological factors can affect an individual. In the future, Waniya hopes to use medicine to provide quality healthcare to all people, regardless of their financial circumstances, ensuring they receive the care they deserve.
