Melany Acosta

About Melany:

Melany Acosta is a junior undergraduate student at the University of Houston majoring in Psychology and Spanish on the premedical track. She is interested in how psychology and medicine intersect and are extremely helpful for providing proper patient care to all populations. Melany is interested in seeing how to give better health care access while still properly aiding patients. She also serves as the current Vice President for the UH Psi Chi & Psychology club and is also involved in the American Medical Women’s Association, Latino Medical Student Association and Link Health. In her free time, Melany enjoys reading, music, watching tv shows, and hair care.
