About Edarlyn:

I am a sophomore undergraduate student at the University of Houston, majoring in Psychology on the Pre‑Med track with a minor in Biology. I’m especially interested in developmental psychology, early childhood behavior, and how clinical care supports children’s cognitive and emotional growth. I’m also interested in how psychology and medicine intersect to shape patient experiences and clinical decision‑making. I currently work as a Pre‑school teacher with 2–3-year-olds, which has strengthened my interest in pediatric development and behavioral science. I volunteer at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where I support patients and families through direct patient care and assistance. I plan to pursue a career as a forensic pathologist/medical examiner to understand and contribute to justice and public health. I am an active member of Psi Chi and the Cougar Forensic Science Association. In my free time, I love singing, listening to music, and exploring new places.
